2 Practice What you Preach! HDL, Inc. has initiated an “Employee Wellness Program” to encourage staff to take an active role in improving their health.

Our Worksite Wellness Committee recently launched a preliminary employee health screening including HDL, Inc. lab panel, plus weight, blood pressure, body fat percentage, pulse rate, and calculated BMI measurements. HDL, Inc. employees have since been taking advantage of the various wellness activities offered at HDL, Inc., including a daily walking group and fitness classes, and will be offered follow-up screenings and rewards for improved lab results. As a leader in preventative care, HDL, Inc. takes pride in knowing that our employees can also take part in a journey towards better health and wellness!

The honorees received their awards at the Science Museum of Virginia’s General Assembly Reception on Jan 27. “I am honored to recognize Virginia’s top science talents for 2011,” said Governor McDonnell.
