RICHMOND, Va. – LeClairRyan and Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. (HDL, Inc.), today jointly announce that Dennis Ryan, co-founder of LeClairRyan, has accepted a position as the Executive Vice President of Health Diagnostic Laboratory. Ryan, who provided counsel on the establishment of HDL, Inc. in 2008 and has since served as the company’s outside legal counsel, will transition to a full-time executive position with the company in April and retire from the practice of law.

“Dennis and I have been friends and colleagues for 30 years,” said Gary D. LeClair, Chairman of LeClairRyan. “While we recognize that the next chapter eventually will begin for all of us, we will deeply miss seeing and working with Dennis every day. Still, we are excited for Dennis as he embarks on this new opportunity to play an integral role for a client for which he has great passion.”

Ryan will resign from his position of Vice Chairman of LeClairRyan at the end of March. Throughout his tenure with the Firm, he has served in many capacities, each of which has proven to be instrumental in the development and success of LeClairRyan.
